PGPL unveils new private study spaces

The Prince George Public Library unveiled its newest amenity this week.

Two private students rooms are now available for use. They can be reserved for up to two hours at a time.

Library Communications coordinator Amy Dhanjal says the new accommodations meet a communal demand.

“Over the summer, the library did extensive community consultation and one of the things that people told us, quite often, was that they needed some private study space downtown,” she says.

The rooms can seat up to six people and are located upstairs at the Bob Harking branch.

Bookings can be made online and a library membership is not required.

You can reserve a room for yourself of your study group via the library’s website.
