Tuesday’s walk out by BC teachers is “imminent”, according to the latest update by their Federation.
President Jim Iker accused the province of “stone-walling” the bargaining team and said 24-hour negotiations never happened.
He says the wage offer made by the Government last night was actually for less money than before.
Iker says an executive committee will meet later Monday to discuss all of their options. Classes are off Monday, as the bargaining team assesses their position.
Classes are off Monday as teachers groups meet to review negotiation progress with teachers across the province, including PG at the UNBC campus.
