A Prince George resident has been recognized for saving a potential fire victim at the Prince George Chateau back in November.
Prince George-Mackenize MLA Mike Morris presented Millie Allen with the Fire Commissioner’s Commendation Plaque today (Fri).
Allen says she is thrilled by the honour.
“I am shaking and happy because I am glad I did what I did because when I walked in and crying for help there was nothing else I could do.”
Mayor Lyn Hall also presented her with an Award of Recognition.
Allen puller her next door neighbour from her suite after noticing fire and smoke.
Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond and members of the Prince George Fire Service were also in attendance.
