Sergeant describes scenes and autopsies of Maas, Stuchenko

The Cody Legebokoff trial continued today with former RCMP Sergeant Norman Striker taking the stand again.

Striker was in charge of the forensics unit in Prince George when the bodies of 35 year olds Jill Stuchenko and Cynthia Maas, and 15 year old Loren Leslie were discovered.

Striker discussed the autopsy of Cynthia Maas, which took place on October 13th, 2010 in which he took photos of.

Included in those photos were the clothing Maas was found wearing – a jacket, dress shirt, and undershirt, all of which had holes in them that Striker described as puncture marks.

Striker said the holes seemed to all match in one area, around the right shoulder.

Next, Striker talked about the discovery of Jill Stuchenko’s body on October 26th, 2009.

Photos of the scene were shown to the jury, which showed the body in a gravel pit located in the area of Otway Road and Foothills Boulevard – half of it buried under gravel, half of it exposed.

Autopsy photos were also shown, depicting an injury to Stuchenko’s head.

The jury was then shown all three videos of the scenes where the women were found, before Striker was off the stand.

Legebokoff is charged with first degree murder in the deaths of Jill Stuchenko, Cynthia Maas, Loren Leslie, and Natasha Montgomery.
