Prince George’s craft beer festival kicks-off tomorrow (Fri).
Kiwanis Ale Fest is taking place from the Two Rivers Art Gallery and Spokesperson, Eric Ball says the 2016 event will feature no shortage of local content.
“We brought in 15 breweries from BC along with 4 local restaurants and the Frozen Paddle Ice Creamery. We are also going to have entertainment from the Cold Snap Music Festival plus we are including a silent auction.”
The event is sold-out with an additional testing session this year.
Two evening sessions will be held both Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 followed by an afternoon session on Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
All proceeds support a room for northern families at Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver.
Just over $11,000 was raised last year with the hope of raising over $20,000 with the additional tasting session.
