BC Coroners identify Avalanche victim

The BC Coroners Service has identified the man who lost his life in Saturday’s avalanche.

He was 41-year-old Angelo Kenneth Carpino of Prince George.

He and a group of four others were snowmobiling through the Torpy
Trail area in Evanoff Provincial Park, 120 kilometres east of Prince George, around 10 AM Saturday morning.

The other snowmobilers escaped harm and returned find Carpino. They did locate him but he couldn’t be saved.

Both the BC Coroners and RCMP will continue investigating the death.
