Spruce Kings fall to Rivermen

The Prince George Spruce Kings continue to struggle against the Langley Rivermen losing 5-2 Friday at the Coliseum.

After a scoreless first period, both team potted two goals in the middle frame.

William Campion broke the deadlock at 11:23 scoring his 7th of the season.

Matthew Graham would double the lead for the visitors making it 2-0.

The Spruce Kings drew even off the sticks of Kyle Johnson and Adam Burnett for a 2-2 tie after 40 minutes.

Langley pushed three more past Spruce Kings goaltender Joseph McLeod courtesy of Torrin White, Donovan Shambeau and Matty Saharchuk.

Prince George was without Tanner Campbell due to a lower body injury.

Despite the loss the Spruce Kings went 2 for 3 on the power play.
