Cariboo Cougars defender Jesse Pomeroy will be lacing it up in the BCHL next season as a member of the Prince George Spruce Kings.
He is committed for the 2016-17 season and has already played two games for the team this year.
The local product is in his second season with the Cougars after playing in all 40 games last season as well as the Mac’s Tournament in Calgary last winter where they won the championship.
Pomeroy currently has 12 points in 26 games this season.
Cariboo will be defending their championship at the Mac’s Tournament this weekend.

The Spruce Kings also received a commitment from Liam Watson-Brawn for next season.
He is playing for the Burnaby Winter Club’s U-18 Prep team this year where he has 11 points in 32 games.
Watson-Brawn has also played five games as an affiliate player for Prince George this season.
