CNC to keep child care centre in PG

CNC and the Caledonia Early Centre and Learning Centre have signed a five year lease to keep it at the school’s Prince George campus.

CNC President, Henry Reiser says keeping it in house was a high priority.

“We felt as an institution this was a high-quality daycare providing outstanding service to our students, staff and community. We didn’t want to see it close.”

CNC experienced a budget short fall last year and considered closing the facility.

The school received additional funding from the Ministry of Advanced Education to transition it to a not-for profit.

It provides full-time care year-round for children between the ages of 30 months to five years of age.
