It was day three of the Cody Legebokoff trial in Prince George today.
Constable Aaron Kehler was on the stand again, the officer who pulled over Legebokoff’s truck in November 2010, which lead to the discovery of 15 year old Loren Leslie’s body.
Photos taken of Legebokoff at the scene and his truck were shown to the jury, as well as exhibits including the pipe wrench and leatherman found by officers.
Kehler described the leatherman as being covered in “vibrant gelled blood”.
Next on the stand was Constable Kanwalprit Sidhu, who was meeting up with Kehler on an unrelated matter when he saw Kehler pull over a pickup truck.
Sidhu described seeing what appeared to be blood on Legebokoff, blood on a jacket found inside the truck, and a pipe wrench also covered in blood and snow.
Legebokoff is facing first degree murder charges in the deaths of Loren Leslie, Jill Stuchenko, Cynthia Maas, and Natasha Lynn Montgomery.
The trial wraps up for the week tomorrow.
