The Cody Legebokoff trial continued in Prince George today, with Loren Leslie’s parents taking the stand.

The 15 year old was one of four women Legebokoff is accused of murdering, after her body was found off Highway 27 in November 2010.

Loren’s father Doug Leslie testified that Loren was a typical teenager who was mostly happy, although did suffer from some anxiety.

Her mother, Donna Leslie, who split from Doug in 2008; said Loren did have problems with depression, and was once taken to hospital in 2010 after she mixed her medication with alcohol.

Doug Leslie was also shown several items that he identified as belonging to Loren, such as a monkey backpack, a wallet, and glasses.

Legebokoff also faces first degree murder charges in the deaths of Jill Stuchenko, Cynthia Maas, and Natasha Lynn Montgomery.

The trial this week is expected to run until Thursday.
