The UNBC Timberwolves men picked up their first win in Canada West basketball action against the UBCO Heat in Kelowna taking a 64-48 decision tonight (Fri).
Rhys Elliott continued his hot play and led the T-Wolves in points with 15 along with 4 rebounds.
Billy Cheng and Austin Chandler also put up 14 and 12 points respectively in the win.

The Lady T-Wolves basketball team fell to 0-3 after dropping a 67-61 decision to the UBCO Heat on Friday.
Maria Mongomo led the team with 17 points and 5 rebounds but fouled out in the fourth quarter.
The player of the game came from the Heat when Emily Kaneter put up 18 points along with 5 steals and 3 rebounds.
Both the men and women play game two of their double dips tomorrow (Sat) in Kelowna at 5 and 7 pm.
