With two oil refineries in the United States having production problems, gas prices in Prince George will see a slight bump.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says that’s not the only issue at play.
“You’re looking at demand being fairly robust in the United States with lower prices. Americans are taking to the road they’re buying bigger vehicles and supply is being put into a bit of a crimp.”
Gas prices are currently at the 106.9 mark in Prince George.
McTeague says it should hover between the 1.08 and 1.09 mark starting on Monday.
