UNBC Timberwolves Student-Athlete Society (TSAS) is collecting funds through its Fill the Bus event.
They will be collecting empty bottles, cans, and cash donations, where profits will be donated to 2025 TSAS MVP Jake McLeod’s Quality of Life Fund.
Jake, who’s 25 years old, has been living with aggressive fibromatosis since the age of 14, and is only the fifth child in BC to have had the disease.
The goal for the GoFundMe is set at $10,000, and has so far raised over half that.
The bus will be filled with donated bottles and cans in the Art Knapp parking lot tomorrow and Sunday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
