Engage Sport North’s Active Star Program has been expanded with the help of Canadian Tire Prince George.
The program will now be extended to four days a week, offering free physical literacy sessions for preschoolers, and provide a safe and engaging environment for their physical activity introduction.
With the program returning to four days a week, it’ll operate Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre.
“Canadian Tire Prince George’s support has been instrumental in allowing us to expand our services and reach more families,” said Sarah Saunders, Executive Director at Engage Sport North.
“Their dedication to the children and this program allows us to provide a strong foundation in physical education, inspiring lifelong health and active living within our community.”
Engage Sport North said collaborative efforts are crucial for sustaining and expanding valuable community services.
