One Board shop in Prince George is holding a fundraiser for the Hart Highlands Ski-Hill on Saturday.
Brenda Sande with One Board Shop says a lot will be happening.
“We are doing a 32 video première and we will also have some raffles including a snowboard, some outerwear which are great prizes to raffle off to raise money for the Hart Ski-Hill.”
Sande adds the ski-hill is a major attraction for local youth.
“The Hart Ski-Hill is the only place within city limits where you can drop your kids off in the evenings and they can go pretty much every night during the week and on weekends and is so inexpensive for the kids to use and is a great little ski-hill.”
They hope to sell all 350 seats for the movie at UNBC and have set a fundraising goal of 5 thousand dollars.
The hill is currently in a funding crunch after losing gaming grants earlier this year.
