Charges have been laid against the five people involved in this week’s incident related to a stolen vehicle in Fort St. John.
Gavin Davis, who was arrested on outstanding warrants, charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Robbery, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Breach of Release Order and Uttering Threats.
Davis has been remanded into custody until his next court date on March 6th
Jack Capot Blanc is facing charges of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 and Pointing a Firearm at a Person.
Blanc will remain in police custody until his next court date on February 25th.
Shianne Etzerza is facing a Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 offense.
Barbara Reno has been slapped with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000.
Jakob Sherwood was arrested and charged with Stolen Property over $5000.
Sherwood, Etzerza and Reno will all appear in court on February 24th.
On Wednesday morning, local Mounties received a report of a stolen pickup truck from a residential driveway on the 9800 block of 112 Avenue, in Fort St John.
Later that same day, between 7:40pm and 8:53pm, two reports were received after the stolen truck was located by civilians, stuck in the area of 277 Road near Montney.
Numerous suspects were reported to be with the stolen pickup along with other vehicles.
Three vehicles were seized including the stolen truck by police.
