Local group to provide update on displaced Ukrainians in the north on Sunday

Sunday marks the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale of invasion into Ukraine.

According to PG for Ukraine, an update on the Ukrainian community in our region will be held at the Knox Performance Centre on 5th Avenue.

Later in the day (2pm), a screening of the film Life To The Limit exploring the cause of the war is taking place.

As of January 28th, 374 Ukrainians have been assisted (11 of whom were dependent children). Currently 271 live in Prince George; 38 live elsewhere in Northern BC; and the remainder have settled elsewhere in Canada or the USA.

Doors open at 1pm with the update and media briefing occurring a half-hour later.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
