Exploration Place to host second screening of ‘Sugarcane’ in early March

Prince George residents will get a second opportunity to see ‘Sugarcane’, an award winning documentary on the St. Joseph’s Mission residential school near Williams Lake.

It covers the investigation into the school and the tragic history of the deaths, abuse, and missing children at the location.

The second screening is being hosted by the Exploration Place from 6pm to 8pm on March 7th.

Since its release, the documentary has won the Grand Jury Award for Directing, and is nominated for Best Documentary at the 97th Academy Awards.

The museum’s first screening will be held February 28th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, prior to the Academy Awards March 2nd.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
