BC Hockey Hall of Fame:
Dan Hamhuis of Smithers, a part owner of the Prince George Cougars, will be inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame this summer as part of the class of 2025.
The 42-year-old Hamhuis played four seasons with the P.G. Cougars before going on to a successful 16-season NHL career.
He starred as a defenseman, playing over 1,100 NHL games, with the Nashville Predators, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars.
The ceremony is set for July 12th in Penticton.

WHL:
The (28-15-4-2) Prince Cougars visit the (16-27-4-1) Kelowna Rockets on Friday and the (18-26-4) Kamloops Blazers on Saturday.
The last place Rockets are riding an 8-game losing streak after they fell 5-2 Wednesday to the Victoria Royals.
Prince George is second in the BC Division, four points behind the (29-14-3-5) Royals with P.G. holding two games in hand.
