The Prince George RCMP have received new information related to its suspected arson investigation at the weigh scales along the Cariboo Highway on Christmas Eve.
“Witnesses to the incident were able to provide investigators with descriptions of the vehicles seen leaving the weigh scales shortly after the fire broke out. If you know where these vehicles are or who they belong to, please contact investigators by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300,” stated Corporal Jennifer Cooper.
Vehicle one:
- Older model Ford flat deck pick up truck with faded paint
- Two red lights on the roof of the cab/headache rack
Vehicle two:
- Smaller sedan, possibly a Subaru
- Pastel green in colour
- Had a roof rack or tent on the roof of the car
The investigation remains ongoing.
