The Timberwolves host the Trinity Western Spartans Saturday night starting with the women’s game at 5:00 followed by the men at 7:00.

The UNBC women are 3-8 while the UNBC men sit 1-10.

The Trinity Western women are 7-5 while the Trinity Western men have a 5-7 record.

WHL: 

The (24-12-3-2) Prince George Cougars visit the (28-14) Spokane Chiefs tonight (Friday) and the Western Conference-leading (30-5-3-3) Everett Silvertips Saturday.

The Cougars are tied with the (23-12-3-4) Victoria Royals for top spot in the BC Division with PG holding a game in hand.

BC Elite Hockey League: 

The Under-18 Cariboo Cougars play two games in Fort St. James against the Valley West Giants; Saturday night at 6:30 outdoors (at the Ernie Sam Memorial Arena) and Sunday morning at 10:00 indoors (at the Fort Forum Arena).

It is a match-up of the top two teams in the 8-team league with the (18-4-1-1) U-18 Cougars in first place by three points over the (17-7-0-1) Giants.

The U-18 Female Northern Capitals also play outdoors in Fort St James tonight at 6:00 against the Fraser Valley Rush.

The (9-10-0-1) Capitals and (7-9-1-2) Rush also meet Saturday morning at 11:00 in Vanderhoof.

BCHL: 

With the BCHL having its all-star game and festivities this weekend, the (12-17-3-1) Prince George Spruce Kings are idle until they host the (19-12-3) Surrey Eagles Wednesday night.

The Spruce Kings are 9th out of 10 in the Coastal Conference, two points behind the (14-17-2) Nanaimo Clippers.

The (10-31) Toronto Raptors visit the (22-17) Milwaukee Bucks tonight (Friday 5:00).

The Raptors are a league-worst 1-18 on the road.

The NFL Conference semifinals start with a pair of games on Saturday; Houston at Kansas City (1:30) followed by Washington at Detroit (5:00).

The Chiefs are favored by 8 1/2 while the Lions are favored by 9 1/2.

The Sunday games have LA Rams at Philadelphia (noon) and Baltimore at Buffalo (3:30).

The Eagles are 6-point favorites while the Ravens are favored by a point over the Bills.
