Downtown PG is looking for its next Executive Director.
Colleen Van Mook has elected to retire and will the leave the role as of May 2nd.
“Colleen’s leadership has been instrumental in the creation and expansion of the programs that we offer. We’ve made great progress as an organization in her time here. Her vision and commitment have truly been an inspiration to us all. We wish her and her family the very best as she embarks on this new life journey,” said Eoin Foley, Board President.
In light of Colleen’s departure, the Board of Directors has commenced a search for a new Executive Director.
“It has been an honor to serve as Executive Director of Downtown Prince George. I am immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for the future of this vibrant community,” stated Colleen Van Mook.
“I have a lot of people to thank for joining me in our efforts to improve and promote Prince George’s downtown. Most especially the property and business owners who commit themselves to their business’ day in and day out.”
Van Mook, a former city staffer has held the Executive Director role at Downtown PG since 2015.
