Prince George Cougars 4 Tri-City Americans 3 (SO)
Koehn Ziemmer tied the game for PG when he scored his team-leading 21st goal of the season with just 27 seconds left in the 3rd.
Jett Lajoie won it in the 4th round of the shootout as the Cougars completed the comeback after trailing 3-1 with 11 minutes to go.
Joshua Ravensbergen made 30 saves in the PG net.

The (16-8-3-2) Cougars are first in the B.C. Division, two points ahead of the (15-10-3-2) Victoria Royals.
Prince George will continue on the road this weekend when they visit the Portland Winterhawks Friday night at 7:00 and the Spokane Chiefs Saturday night at 6:05.

P.G. Cougars captain Riley Heidt is in Ottawa along with 31 other players (total of 12 from the WHL) competing for a spot on Canada’s National Junior Team.
The four goaltenders, 10 defensemen, and 18 forwards are vying for a spot on Canada’s National Junior Team, which will compete at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, from December 26 through January 5 in Ottawa.

The (8-14-2-1) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (12-10-4-1) Langley Rivermen Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00 in their final two games before Christmas.

The (13-3-1-1) Under-18 Cariboo Cougars visit the (11-7-0-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds Saturday afternoon at 4:00 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 in Chilliwack.
The U-18 Cougars are in second place in the 8-team BC Elite Hockey league, just a point
behind the (14-4-0-1) Valley West Giants.
