The Prince George Cougars have made a move to add to their blueline.
The Cougars acquired 2006-born defenceman Corbin Vaughan from the Regina Pats, in exchange for 2005-born defenceman Ephram McNutt and a 2025 second-round pick.
“I am so pumped to join the Cougars,” Vaughan said.
“I am excited for a new start, to make new relationships, and to do whatever I can to help the team win. It’s a first-class organization that I have heard nothing but good things about and I cannot wait to get going.”
Vaughan has played in 98 career WHL games with the Pats, notching 14 points and 165 penalty minutes.
The Merritt, BC product was the Pats’ 30th overall selection in the 2021 WHL Prospects draft, and earned an invite to the Los Angeles Kings Development Camp this past summer.
