Carson Carels sent the bears flying with the Cougars on the two-man advantage.

 Hunter Laing scored twice, while Aiden Foster, Koehn Ziemmer and Riley Heidt added singles.

With the win, the Cougars (15-8-3-2) are back on top of the BC Division and are second in the Western Conference.

The Cougars are back on the road to close out 2024, starting with a Wednesday tilt in Kennewick, Washington against the Tri-City Americans.

Cowichan Valley Capitals  4  Prince George Spruce Kings  3

Brock Cummings, Kazumo Sasaki and Mason Loewen scored for the Spruce Kings.

Colin Reay got the start between the pipes for Prince George, making 30 saves.
