The Regina Pats come to Prince George following a 5-3 victory over the Vancouver Giants Wednesday in Langley.
Regina, who ended a 7-game losing streak, had been outscored 27-2 over its last four games.
The (13-8-3-2) Cougars host the (7-16-2-2) Pats Friday and the (12-14-1) Kamloops Blazers Saturday.
Less than 200 hundred tickets are left for the Saturday game, which is Teddy Bear Toss night and the final home game in 2024 for Prince George.
Friday is Josh Ravensbergen bobblehead night.
The Cougars are second in the B.C. Division, four points behind the (15-8-3-2) Victoria Royals with P.G. holding two games in hand.

A big loss for the Kelowna Rockets.
High-scoring forward Tij Iginla has undergone successful hip surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
Iginla suited up in 21 games this season, registering 32 points including 14 goals.

The (7-13-2-1) Prince George Spruce Kings visit the (14-6-3) Victoria Grizzlies Friday and the (12-9-3) Cowichan Valley Capitals on Saturday.
The Spruce Kings are 1-1 since the coaching change with Brad Tesnik replacing the fired Alex Evin.
