Police said the victim and a witness were walking in the area of Sixth Avenue and Dominion Street at around 2:00am, when two females approached the victim, and a verbal altercation broke out.

Corporal Jennifer Cooper says the victim was assaulted by one of the suspects, sustaining severe injuries to the head and face.

“We’re just hoping that anyone can possibly help identify these two suspects, as we do need to continue this investigation, and that identification is really important at this point.”
