WHL:
PG Cougars Captain Riley Heidt is one of 12 from the WHL and 32-players overall invited to attend Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp.
It is scheduled for December 10-13 in Ottawa.
The four goaltenders, 10 defensemen, and 18 forwards will vie for a spot on Canada’s National Junior Team, which will compete at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, from December 26, 2024, through January 5, 2025 in Ottawa.
18-year-old Josh Ravensbergen of the Cougars was not among the goalies given an invite.

The (13-8-3-2) PG Cougars host the (6-15-2-2) Regina Pats Friday and the (12-14-1) Kamloops Blazers Saturday in their final two home games in 2024.
Friday is Josh Ravensbergen bobblehead night while Saturday is Teddy Bear Toss night.
Prince George is second in the B.C. Division, two points behind the (14-8-3-2) Victoria Royals.
The @PGCougars have announced they’ve signed defenceman Logan Jugnauth to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Logan, 16, is the brother of @pdxwinterhawks blueliner and @SeattleKraken prospect, Tyson Jugnauth.

BCHL:
The Prince George Spruce Kings have a new goalie.
They have acquired 19-year-old Colin Reay from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for future considerations.
Reay posted a 14-9-4 record with a 2.85 GAA and a .914 SV% in a Vipers uniform.
The (7-13-2-1) Spruce Kings visit Victoria Friday and Cowichan on Saturday.
P.G. is 1-1 since sacking head coach Alex Evin and replacing him on an interim basis with Associate Coach Brad Tesink.
The Spruce Kings have acquired goaltender Colin Reay (05) from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for Future Considerations.

The (13-3-1-1) U-18 Cariboo Cougars are back in action Dec 14th and 15th when they visit the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in Chilliwack.
Cariboo is in first place in the 8-team league by a point over the (13-3-0-1) Valley West Giants.
