The Prince George Hospice is making its final push to sell the remaining 2024 Dream Home lottery tickets that help support the organization.
40 percent of their funding comes from the lotto, with 100 percent of the revenue from ticket sales going into the Rotary Hospice House.
Executive Director, Donna Flood talks about where the money goes to.
“Home Hospice is really a game changer for people that really want to stay in their home. It’s difficult, and primarily it’s difficult for that person that’s caring for them, so we’ve set up a program that allows us to be available 24/7.”
“We’re the first Home Hospice program in the country so, there’s nobody else that’s doing this.”
Flood says when they still have tickets on the table, that’s money they don’t have to support the Rotary Hospice.
The draw for the $940,000 Dream Home will take place on December 3rd, with ticket information on their website here.
