Selen Alpay has been bestowed with yet another honour.
He was one of five groups or individuals who were presented with a 2024 Partnership Award from the BC Principals and Vice-Principals Association.
Recipients supported their school communities through the delivery of culturally appropriate child and family programs, through quiet and respectful contributions to meet the needs of vulnerable youth.
Alpay was nominated by School District 57.
“I am blessed, honoured, and humbled to have been selected as a recipient of the BCPVPA Partnership Award. This recognition would not have been made possible without the countless, incredible individuals we have built close relationships with over the last seventeen years. These dedicated, passionate and special human beings work a variety of school programs that have a positive impact on our kids and youth, ultimately making their lives better! We are proud and privileged to support these life changing endeavours!”
The awards ceremony took place on November 22nd at the JW Marriott Parq Hotel in Vancouver.
