The 18th annual Coldsnap Winter Music Festival will be returning to Prince George with some big differences.
The Prince George Folkfest Society looks to engage the existing and any new audiences with changes, such as the addition of a late-night show at the Legion.
Communications and Operations Manager Katherine Benny says their biggest change is with tickets.
“This year we have limited quantities of festival passes, and this is something we haven’t done before, but folks are able to go onto our website and buy a festival pass which gives them total access to all ticketed main stage performances and late-night shows.”
Benny says they’re also doubling the number of ticketed family events, with all changes reflecting popularity among the audience.
She says this is the first year in a while where the festival will be condensed to five days instead of nine, allowing audiences to attend without burnout or having to choose.
Benny notes the schedule change won’t affect the amount of performances at the festival.
Tickets are available, with Coldsnap 2025 going from February 5th to the 9th.
