One person was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the Barkerville Highway near Fanslau Road this morning. (Wednesday)
The Quesnel RCMP were called to the area just after 7:30.
According to police, the collision involved a pickup truck and a logging truck.
Mounties say the driver of the pickup was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the driver of the logging truck was uninjured.
Sgt. Clay Kronebusch said the road was closed for a short time while emergency crews extracted the driver from the vehicle, but it has since reopened.
