The Prince George RCMP are investigating a suspicious death.
Mounties were called to a residence on the 2300 block of Victoria Street just after 8:00 last night (Monday) on a report of an assault in progress.
When officers arrived, they located a deceased 61-year-old Prince George man and arrested two adult male suspects.
According to police, foul play is suspected and the detachment’s Serious Crime Section has assumed conduct of the investigation.
The BC Coroners Service has been engaged as well.
Investigators say they are confident this was a targeted attack, and there are no further concerns for public safety.
The investigation is in its early stages, and more information may be released as it becomes available.
