First non-stop flight to Kelowna departs YXS

Pacific Coastal Airlines launched its inaugural non-stop service between Prince George (YXS) and Kelowna (YLW) today (October 29).

The airline and the Prince George Airport (YXS) celebrated the inaugural non-stop flight with a ribbon cutting celebration.

Acting Mayor Tim Bennet, Gustavo Zorzi with Pacific Coastal Airlines, and Gordon Duke spoke about the economic and tourism benefits the route will bring to the local community.

“This service is a welcome addition to the existing routes at YXS. We are excited to see an increase in diverse and convenient travel options available for our community, region, and province,” said Duke.
