For the first time in 2 1/2 years the Prince George Cougars have been shutout in a WHL regular season game.
Eric Tu, who does not turn 16 until Oct. 26th, made 31 saves in his second WHL start to earn the goose as the Calgary Hitmen scored a convincing 5-0 victory over the Prince George Cougars.

This was not the kind of turkey the Cougars were planning on during Thanksgiving Monday in Calgary.
It was the first time since April 5th, 2022 that the Cougars have been blanked.

Calgary outshot Prince George 36-31 before 2,710 fans at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Cooper Michaluk took the loss in net as his record dropped to 0-3 since joining P.G. in a trade with Spokane.
The Hitmen scored three unanswered goals in the second period, (the first two just 19 seconds apart) and added two more in the third.
Calgary went 1-for-6 on the power play while P.G. was 0-for-3 with the man advantage.
Prior to the game, Prince George reassigned 18-year-old defenseman Drew Peterson to Bonnyville of the AJHL.
The (5-3-2-1) Cougars continue a 3-game Alberta road trip Wednesday against (4-4) Medicine Hat and Friday vs. (5-1-1) Lethbridge.
