A College Heights house fire has resulted in $80,000 worth of damage according to the City of Prince George.
At about 3pm yesterday (Wednesday), crews from three fire halls responded to the 8000 block of St. John Crescent.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-storey single-family home but was contained to the basement and was later extinguished.
The investigation determined the blaze was caused by unattended candles being used.
There were no injuries to occupants or fire personnel.
