The Prince George Job Fair is back for a second time!
Coordinator Caisy Jackson says the event is looking to build on the last event’s success.
“Last year, we had more than 500 job-seekers and 12 exhibitors, and we’re hoping to exceed that this year.”
The fair will run from 10am to 3pm at the Coast Inn of the North on Thursday, September 24th, and will provide opportunities for seasonal, part-time, full-time, entry level, and managerial positions.
There will also be more resources available to job-seekers this year.
“We have WorkBC setting up some computers and printers with some support staff,” explains Jackson, “So if you need help with your resume, or if you just need to print some off, you’re able to bring it in on a USB stick, and we’ll be able to help you with that.”
Jackson also recommends dressing to impress, as applicants are often interviewed on the spot.
