Maks Perčič was the hero as the Prince George Spruce Kings picked up a 3-2 overtime win over the Chilliwack Chiefs.
Perčič potted a rebound into a yawning cage in the extra frame to break the hearts of the 2,202 fans at the Chilliwack Coliseum.

Ryder Green was incredible between the pipes for Prince George, making 40 saves in the win.
The Chiefs outshot the Spruce Kings 42-16.
Cooper Williams opened the scoring for Prince George early in the first.
The Chiefs scored a pair of goals early in the third to take the lead, but Vital Dinis scored late to force overtime.

With the win, the Spruce Kings (2-0) are in a four-way tie for the top spot in the BCHL’s Coastal Conference.
