Fall finally begins in Prince George

Today is the official start of fall in Prince George.

Lisa Coldwells with Environment Canada says it’s won’t get too chilly until October.

“We are looking at Thanksgiving time where the temperatures start to dip below zero overnight with daytime high’s of around 10 degrees.”

Coldwells adds we can expect some wet weather over the next two months.

“We are looking at 63 millimetres of precipitation in October and into November it will be about 55.”

Between June and August the summer temperatures were 7.6 degrees were above normal.
