UNBC men’s soccer team earns first win

The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team improved to 1-3 after a 1-0 win against the UBCO Heat in Kelowna tonight (Sat).

Both teams went without a goal in the first half.

The Timberwolves scored the only goal in the 56th minute thanks to Brandon Wallace’s 1st of the season.

UNBC earned a split in the Okanagan after falling short the night prior against the UBCO.

The Timberwolves play at home next Saturday and Sunday at 2:15 against the University of Fraser Valley.

The Lady Timberwolves soccer team lost a tough one against the 9th ranked UBC Thunderbirds 1-0 tonight (Sat).

The lone goal came in the 85th minute when Jasmin Dhanda scored the game winner for the T-Birds.

UNBC now drops to 0-3-1 and will play at home next Friday against Trinity Western at 7pm.

The Timberwolves will also host the University of Fraser Valley at Noon on Sunday.
