“An injury to one is an injury to all. We stand with the railway workers. Workers unite, keep up the fight.”
These were just some of the chants heard throughout this morning (Monday) as approximately 100 people marched through downtown Prince George as part of the Labour Day March.
“To put it in a nutshell, it’s just basically, for us it’s labour putting back into the communities,” said Co-chair of the Labour Day organizing commitee Matt Baker.
“It’s also just to celebrate the wins we’ve had over the last little bit.”
Baker noted the annual march in Prince George is one of the biggest in BC.
