Newspaper employees sign first union deal in 12 years

The staff of the Prince George Citizen have reached a union deal for the first time since 2012.

The paper made the announcement this morning (Thursday), the contract was ratified by its six voting union members on Sunday (July 21).

Print editions of the Citizen will also once again be delivered to regional communities outside of Prince George, pick-up boxes will soon be installed in Quesnel, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, and Mackenzie.
