BC RCMP return two wanted men to Ontario following arrests in Prince George and Chilliwack

RCMP in Prince George and Chilliwack arrested a pair of men wanted in Ontario.

Mounties say the BC RCMP’s Fugitive Return Program worked with the Ontario Provincial Police, as well as Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General to extend their Ontario warrants to BC.

The BC Prosecution Service, the BC Sheriff Service, and the Prince George and Chilliwack RCMP detachments collaborated to successfully arrest the men, and return them to Ontario to face their charges.

Jeffrey Mills, 52, is facing possession of firearm or ammunition and possession of prohibited/restricted firearms charges, while Jordan Cole, 26, is facing numerous charges including possession of stolen property and various firearms offences.

According to police, the two men and their charges are unrelated to each other.

“We are appreciative of the collaboration and efforts involved to apprehend and inter-provincially return these two offenders to face their charges,” said BC Fugitive Return Program Coordinator Cpl. Donna Spyrka.

“The arrest of these two men was a result of great team work amongst multiple agencies.”

The two men were returned to Ontario on July 4th, facilitated by Ontario Provincial Police Aviation Services.
