The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre has lifted as of 2 pm this afternoon (July 15) the Evacuation Alert for the Barkerville-Cornish Mountain Area.
The Alert was first issued back on July 10th for 340 parcels covering 12,045 hectares.
The Cariboo Regional District said should conditions change, an Evacuation Alert and/or Evacuation Order will be reinstated as necessary.

 In addition, the District of Wells has rescinded their evacuation orders and alerts, and has cancelled the local state of emergency.
