The UNBC Timberwolves will have a 6’5 shooting guard fresh from Spain on next year’s team.
Danilo Gonzalez, from the Canary Islands, has committed to UNBC for the 2024-25 season.
“In my opinion, I’m an all-around player. I can play defense on almost every position and also on offence I really like to create fastbreaks, finish hard on the rim, and shoot threes whenever I can,” Gonzalez said.
“I’m excited to add Danilo to the roster,” stated head coach Todd Jordan. “He’s played at a high level in Spain and that, along with his prep year experience in Quebec has prepared him to be ready for Canada West basketball. Danilo gives us guard size defensively and he is a good finisher at the rim and in transition. I expect him to be able to contribute early on in his university career.”
Gonzalez will study math while playing at UNBC.
