Parascak scored 105 points (43 goals, 62 assists) in 68 regular season games last season, leading all CHL rookies in points, goals, assists, and +/- rating.
His 105-point season also set the franchise records for most goals, assists, and points by a Cougar rookie, breaking Brett Connolly’s rookie points record.
Connolly was the last Cougar to be selected in the first round, 6th overall in 2010 by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
He put up 14 more points in the playoffs.
A total of five WHL players were selected in the first round of the 2024 #NHLDraft.
This marks the 16th time in the past 18 years in which the WHL has seen five or more players selected in the first round of the NHL Draft.
