Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the single wide trailer had fire burning and the two occupants inside were able to get out and were taken to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services.
The fire spread quickly to three nearby vehicles, but firefighters were able to extinguish it.
The cause is not determined, however, Dean said it’s not considered suspicious.
Twenty-six personnel responded to the incident with two command vehicles and four large apparatus and were on scene for about three hours.
The fire department returned to the scene this morning due to the fire restarting.
