Prince George Cougars:
The Prince George Cougars made one trade and signed one of their draft picks on Thursday.
The Cougars dealt forward Oren Shtrom, who turns 20 in September, to the Kamloops Blazers for import Vojtech Vochvest.
The Czechia defenseman played 67 games for the Blazers as an 18-year-old rookie in the 2023-24 season, registering 5 assists and 60 penalty minutes.
Shtrom had eight points and was a +10 in 15 playoff games with the Cougars, adding to his 27 points in 66 regular season games.
This leaves the Cougars with seven 20-year-old players and three imports on their potential 2024-25 roster.
The Cougars also signed their second round draft pick, defenseman Cooper Bratton, to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
