The Warriors finished 1-2 in the round robin and they advance to the semifinal on Friday.
Drummondville, at 0-3, is out.
The Voltigeurs loss stops the QMJHL’s hold on the Memorial Cup, having won it the past four times.
The 2-0 London Knights play the 2-0 Saginaw Spirit tonight at 4:30 with the winner to advance to Sunday’s final.
A WHL team has not won the Memorial Cup since the Edmonton Oil Kings beat the Guelph Storm 10 year ago in the 2014 final.
